Hi I'm Rhian, or Rhi as I'm known nowadays!
I started the HUB way back with Zoe. We realised there were very little horsemanship activities that you could take part in online and certainly nothing that offered a variety of disciplines.
The now famous 12 Week Challenge came first and has been a huge success accross the world - can you believe it! Next came our online platform through Facebook formally known as the HUB. Now branded Top Barn Online, an online community for horse lovers from all disciplines and styles of training, no matter where in the world you are. TBO is a familiar and friendly place to can share your wins, and losses with friends, without judgement. It also gives you the opportunity to compete online and receive education from myself.
I am an instructor here at Top Barn in the Cotswolds. I've been helping people now for about 4 years and been a student of horsemanship for over 15 years. I love watching people progress on their horsemanship journey and giving them a helping hand along the way. The main reason all this exists is thanks to my fantastic pony Orbit. He's been with me for 8 years and we have had the best journey together. He continues to motivate me to become better. Welcome aboard!

I have a 12 year old Arabian horse called Neville, who has lived at home with us for the past 4.5 years.

Neville is a far from easy horse and he has taught me so much about patience and to never give up looking for answers. I have been fortunate over my many years to have worked on various yards with horses of all types, abilities & breeding. I’ve had the pleasure of working with high calibre eventing horses as well as working on small private family yards, where the family pony is passed from the oldest to the youngest child and holds the most cherished position in the entire family.

I like to think I’m going to bring to the Top Barn community my tireless enthusiasm and hopefully to be able to give to others a little bit of help and support that I have been generously given over the years.

I have known Rhian for many years and I have her to thank for introducing me to natural horsemanship. At the time my pony Phoenix, an old Highland, was a little difficult and Rhian showed me ways of managing him, not always successfully on my part!
After an amazing holiday/learning experience with Rhian in Fort Worth, Texas, watching a colt starting clinic by Buck Brannaman, I decided 'what the hell' I'm going to start my own colt! The search was on to find my perfect future partner. Armed with my secret weapon, Rhian's horsemanship knowledge, we found Cosmo, a 3 year old untouched colt....he is now 8 and everything I could have wished for, I am eternally grateful to Rhian for helping me find my furry soulmate.
In return, I use my creativeness to make TBO, and its challenges, as visually attractive and appealing as possible.

Hi all, I’m Rachel and I’m completely owned by the wonderful Magic Mojo.
We are very lucky to be based at Top Barn having moved here almost two years ago with my 30yr old horse of a lifetime Jackson and a boisterous 4 yr old Mo! I knew about Top Barn having taken part in the online challenges previously as well as tournament days. Jack was the 2019 Champion! I lost Jack last year and lost my way a bit as well as my confidence but the Top Barn community has been so important in helping me appreciate every minute I spend with Mo.
Building a trusting partnership and learning together is the goal - and having some fun along the way! I want to encourage people to have confidence and celebrate what they and their horse can achieve - from hacking out alone or scoring gold on an archery run (our particular goal!).

​Despite always having a love of horses, I didn’t own my first horse until I was 35. Being greener than grass, I inadvertently bought a recently backed 5 year old! I learnt right from the get go that help and support were the keys to getting anywhere with your horse or yourself.

12 years ago I acquired a rescue Andalusian mare whilst living in Spain called Negrita (Rita) who I believe has turned out to be my horse of a lifetime. She had been treated pretty poorly and consequently was pretty wild and scary. Over the years I have worked hard to build my confidence and find the right people to advance my knowledge of horsemanship. I started with Parelli then found that Buck Brannaman’s methods made more sense to me.

More recently I have enjoyed studying with Fawn Anderson and my biggest motivator over the last four years has been Rhian Rose Jones who has very patiently taught me how to understand my mare and work with her to get the best from her. I went from being pretty scared of her to trusting her with my life enjoying everything that the equestrian sport has to offer albeit on a novice level.

Hi I’m Gina,
Bert came into my life 5 years ago as a very green 5 year old and our journey together has had many ups and downs. I nearly lost him last year to colic and he has arthritis in his hocks and front fetlocks. Despite all this he always tries his heart out and is a real fighter.
My confidence was at an all time low when I first got Bert and I seriously thought about giving up horses all together. I found a great instructor to help and then a friend told me about the Top Barn Online 12 week challenge. The first year I gave up but was determined to complete it the next year which I did and we’ve been hooked on Top Barn Online ever since.
Through the different challenges Top Barn Online sets, my relationship, skills and confidence with Bert have come on more than I could ever imagine. We will now have a crack at anything and although I still have confidence wobbles, I know we can overcome them.
Top Barn Online and its community is amazing at supporting and encouraging everyone to have ago and try something new at a level which suits. I love the online competitions and challenges as they keep me focused and engaged with the added bonus of being able to do them when I want, with no “competition day” pressure. The rosettes and prizes are always beautiful too. I recommend Top Barn Online to everyone who wants to have fun with their horses and learn along the way.

Hi, my name is Liza and I have my 9 year old wonder horse, Patch. Patch and I regularly show jump up to 70, and dressage up to novice level. We also love to share all our achievements (and sometimes setbacks) with the wonderfully supportive, welcoming community within Top Barn Online.

I also love hearing about everyone else’s successes both on horseback and on the ground! We take part in every challenge Top Barn has to offer, including the Winter 12 Week Challenge and the Summer Challenge! I always push myself to try something new in every challenge, and Patch is my superstar who gives his all, no matter what madness I face him with! I am looking forward to the coming year, where I will continue to share mine and Patch’s activities, and I hope to speak to, if not meet, as many of you as possible!
